Going Green, or is it Brown?

This is just a quick post to let the world know that I'm going to start covering eco friendly topics here such as going off grid, sustainable living and green lifestyles.
In the last year and a half our family has made many changes in the way we live life so that we are now more at one with the earth and we live a more sustainable life style. In return we have lowered our utility costs, become closer as a family and learned many great ways to life a simpler life in harmony with nature and the land.
I will be sharing our experiences, some good and some not so good. I hope all of my readers here can learn something cool and have some fun.
